It serves as an experimental platform to prepare the future German Agency for Transfer and Innovation (DATI) and to modernize funding processes. DATIpilot focuses on two funding modules: Innovation Sprints, which enable rapid implementation of concrete transfer ideas within up to 18 months, and Innovation Communities, which support long-term, collaborative innovation projects for up to four years. The program emphasizes openness, co-creation, and agile processes, targeting actors from academia, industry, and society to develop technological and social innovations that address societal challenges.
